* Read Ch. 7-9. Then, summarize Piper's first day of school. Be sure to include all aspects - arrival, relationship with teacher and students, etc. Also, practice writing using complete sentences.

I liked the book so I read ahead so I can't really make a prediction!
ReplyDeleteThis is what happened to Piper on the first day of school: First, Piper had to sit in the front row when she didn't want to. She wanted to sit in the back so she could look for people to give gypsey club invitations to. But her teacher told her to by asking in an adult way if she would like to sit in the front row. When Piper said no the teacher repeated the question and forced her to sit in the front row so Piper did not like her very much. But, she liked her reading teacher.
At recess she lied to a kid named Nicole that she had met in class. She said that at the Gypsey Club meeting a real gypsey would tell their fortunes when really there would not be one there. So she had to think of something before the next Gypsey Club meeting.
My prediction is that Piper is not going to know anybody and she won't have anyone to play with. At the end of the day it will turn out better because she will start to meet people.

ReplyDeleteOn the first day of school, she was standing by her new teacher being presented to the class. The teacher was Ms. Gordon. She planned to sit at the back of the room to look for new friends. But the teacher made her sit in the front of the room. Piper sat next to a girl and a boy.When the bell rang, they went out to recess and stood on the sidewalk. the girl said her name was Nicole. Piper gave Nicole a Gypsy Club. Then they saw blue angels practicing up in the sky. Next, they had reading class and Piper went to her
reading room. She had made four friends named Nicole, Micheal, Kami, and Haley. They were all invited to be a Gypsy club member. Last, she went home.
I already read the book so I can not make a prediction.
ReplyDeleteHer teacher introduced her to the class everyone was glaring at her. she wanted to sit in the back row so she can see people and give out Gypsy club invitatations and so the teacher won't see her handing them out. But unfortunately she sat in the front right in the teachers view.
she sat next to a boy that could touch his nose she asked how do you do that, the boy thought it was a stupid question.Then the bell finally the bell rang and they went outside she played with a girl named Nicole she got an invitation. Nicole was twins with the boy that could tuch his nose with his tongue. At recess they watched Blue Angels fly once they almost thought that one would crash right into them!!!! Then the bell rang and they went inside. Piper met her reading teacher. She liked her as a reading teacher.
